ICASSP 2023 Outstanding Reviewer Recognition for AIM students

As part of the 2023 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP 2023), AIM PhD students Jiawen Huang and Christian Steinmetz were recognized as ICASSP’s outstanding reviewers for their contributions to the reviewing process.

Congratulations to Jiawen and Christian! For a full list of AIM students’ activities for ICASSP 2023, please see the relevant post.

AIM at Sequences in London Workshop

Sequences in London is a 2-day workshop that aims to gather researchers working on different aspects of symbolic sequences, including string algorithms and data structures, computational biology, music information retrieval, and combinatorics on words, as well as application areas.

At the half-day for music information retrieval, AIM student Lele Liu gave a talk about her work on sequence modelling for audio-to-score music transcription. The talk briefly introduces her research in transcribing musical recordings into machine-readable scores by using deep sequential models. Feel free to find out more about her research here!

C4DM at ICASSP 2023

On 4–10 June, several C4DM researchers will participate at the 2023 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP 2023). ICASSP is the leading conference in the field of signal processing and the flagship event of the IEEE Signal Processing Society.

As in previous years, the Centre for Digital Music will have a strong presence at the conference, both in terms of numbers and overall impact. The below papers presented at ICASSP 2022 are authored or co-authored by C4DM members:

See you all in Rhodes!
